This has honestly been a pretty hard week. We have been continuing to teach the Adventists about once a week and I think I have given about five different lessons about baptism to them. We know the mom is going to be baptized sometime in the future, but I don’t know when. But I did pretty much nail them on a few points of doctrine about why this was the true church. They were asking me to explain some parts in Revelations about how the church in the last days is going to be persecuted. First, I asked if it was important for their salvation to know this and then I explained some history of the church. Then I explained that the Sabbath had to be on Sunday since it says in the New Testament, the first day of the week. Unfortunately, the mom and the daughter started arguing a little. And now the mom goes to our church more than her own now.
We have also been teaching their friend Erica some more. We are making progress to a baptismal date. She has moved from May too before the next transfers. So hopefully she will be baptized soon. I have also taught about three different lessons about baptism to her. But she’ll make it soon. Yamileht we had to dropped because she said she was moving back to her hometown.
Church was kind of a bummer this week, since we didn't have any investigators in church. This has been the very first week in my mission without anyone in church. Somehow, there has been some miracle that people have always come though we thought no one would come.
But that sums up the week. Have a good week. I love you.
